Kỹ thuật Paraphasing câu hỏi trong Ielts writing task 1 (tiếp)

Để paraphrase đề bài trong IELTS Writing task 1, ngoài cách sử dụng từ đồng nghĩa như đã được giới thiệu trong bài viết trước, các bạn còn có thể thể hiện vốn từ vựng rộng lớn cũng như sự linh hoạt trong cách dùng từ của mình bằng cách chuyển cụm từ trong đề bài đã cho thành danh từ ghép. Đây là một bài học rất hay ho mà mình đã học được khi làm trợ giảng cho một trong tâm tiếng Anh trên địa bàn Hà Nội và muốn chia sẻ với các bạn.

Cách 3: Chuyển từ hoặc cụm từ thành danh từ ghép

Ex1: The graphs below show the types of music albums purchased by people in Britain according to sex and age.

Purchased by people in Britain -> British purchasers (compound noun)

The graphs illustrate the percentages of British purchasers buying different types of music in terms of gender and age.

Ex2: The graphs below show the number of men and women in full and part-time employment in Australia between 1973 and 1993.

Men and women employment in Australia -> Australian male and female employees

The line graphs compare the number of Australian male and female employees who work full and part time from 1973 to 1993.

Ex3: The graph below compares figures for the production and consumption of energy in the US from 1950 to 2000. It also predicts figures for 2025.

The production and consumption of energy in the US -> the American energy production and consumption

The line graph compares the amount of American energy production and consumption between 1950 and 2000 and forecasts the trend in 2025.
